Rashad & Meredith
Meredith and Rashad wed on January 19 2025, at Crystal Plaza.
Their Story
Their love story began with a chance encounter on New Year’s Eve in 2017.

As midnight approached, the countdown began. In that magical moment, when the world was poised between the old and the new, Meredith and Rashad shared their first kiss.
“We didn’t know it then, but that kiss marked the beginning of a love story that would stand the test of time and distance,” says Meredith.

The Proposal
It was a chilly Wednesday in January when Rashad chose to propose.

Meredith thought it would be just another relaxing evening, unaware of the beautiful surprise awaiting her. The setting was intimate, surrounded by the warmth and familiarity of her childhood home.
Details of the Day
“Our wedding day was an absolute dream—a perfect blend of elegance, love, and personalized touches that reflected their unique bond,” says Meredith.

Their chosen colors—winter blues, gold, and cream—set the tone for a sophisticated yet warm winter celebration, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a beautiful, cohesive experience. The rich winter blues brought depth and serenity.

Choosing the Venue
When Meredith and Rashad began searching for the perfect venue, they knew they wanted something that was both elegant and meaningful.

As soon as they stepped foot into Crystal Plaza, they both instantly knew they had found their place.
The venue offered everything they were looking for: a beautiful space filled with natural light, stunning design elements, and a personal connection to their family.

Favorite Moment
“One of the most magical moments from our wedding was undoubtedly our first look, a moment that felt intimate, serene, and full of love,” says Meredith.

“In a world bustling with the excitement of the day, this was our time—just the two of us, away from the crowds and the chaos.”
Detail You Couldn’t Live Without
“One of the most memorable and special details from our wedding was Krispy Kreme donuts—an unexpected yet perfectly fitting touch that truly reflected who we are as a couple,” says Meredith.

“For Rashad and I, donuts weren’t just a sweet treat; they were a shared love and a fun, personal detail that made our celebration even more special.”
Wedding Day Attire
“The dress I chose was everything I had imagined and more—elegant, timeless, and romantic,” says Meredith of her dress that had a sweetheart neckline with off the shoulder straps. “It had the perfect blend of classic charm and modern sophistication, making it feel both stunning and uniquely me.”

Advice For Other Couples
“One piece of advice we would love to share with other couples is not to stress over the little things,” says Meredith. “Weddings are such a huge milestone, and it’s easy to get caught up in wanting every detail to be perfect. But the truth is, not everything will go exactly as planned, and that’s completely okay.”

Honeymoon
While they plan a larger honeymoon, the newlyweds did a staycation right after the wedding to just soak in the first couple days of being married.
