Holley and John at Mountain Creek

We both followed each other on Instagram throughout our apprenticeships and met each other to exchange art prints.
John proposed on a hike in Hawaii’s north shore during sunset. It was very sweet and romantic.
We found the wedding venue of our dreams at the Mountain Creek Hotel, and being on top of a mountain was amazing! Guests got to ride a gondola up to the top of the mountain to enjoy the ceremony and absolutely breathtaking views. It was awesome. The tall grasses and wildflowers in the open field gave the portraits the most beautiful, rustic and earthy vibe. And the cake topper was painted by Holley so it would look like us.
Because it is beautiful and it seemed the most “us.”
The cake is made up of two different cakes, one being a chocolate cake with a tiramisu icing and the other is a vanilla cake with a cannoli cream filling. It will be ombré grey to white to match some of our color scheme.
We both loved everyone’s reactions to our entrance song. I personally loved seeing John’s face when I started to walk down the ceremony stairs. We were also so excited to do our first dance.
