Brandon & Olivia
Olivia and Brandon and October 10, 2025 at Stone House.
Their Story
They first crossed paths in 2016 at a local bar—the kind of serendipitous meeting you can’t plan.

“Though we lived in the same county, we went to different schools, and he had apparently noticed me before that night,” says Olivia. “He struck up a conversation, and from that moment on, we haven’t been apart. It was the start of a love story that continues to grow stronger every day.”

The Proposal
“After nine years together, I thought I’d be expecting a proposal on our second trip to Italy—but he had other ideas,” says Olivia. “To throw me off, he whisked me away on a spontaneous weekend getaway. I tried to say no, worried about packing for vacation, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer.”

“He booked the Airbnb, packed up our pup, Archie, and off we went. We arrived at a dreamy A-frame cabin in the Poconos, and everything felt peaceful—until it started to rain.”
“He asked me to step outside and soak in the moment, and then, out of nowhere, he asked, ‘So, you want to get married, huh?’ Before I knew it, he was on one knee!”
“Celebrating our engagement with my family in Italy made the moment even more unforgettable,” says Olivia.

Choosing the Venue
“We chose Stone House because it truly felt like us,” says the bride. “After touring 12 or 13 venues, nothing really clicked. We even had a deposit down at another venue, but deep down we knew it wasn’t the one, so we canceled and kept searching.”

“When I came across Stone House, the photos immediately gave us hope and excitement. Our tour sealed the deal—our memory-maker, Nicole, made us feel so welcomed and cared for, which was something we hadn’t experienced anywhere else.”

“The venue itself perfectly matched the vibe we wanted: rustic yet modern, not the typical ballroom style.”
“On top of that, we loved that Stone House has an on-site restaurant with amazing food—we knew our wedding menu would be something truly special. From that moment, we both knew Stone House was the perfect place for our wedding.”
Details of the Day
“Our wedding celebrated timeless romance with a playful, whimsical touch. We chose elegant white flowers that felt light and dreamy, and I DIY’d stone table numbers for a personal, rustic detail we absolutely loved.”

“Instead of traditional favors, we got creative with our seating chart, featuring mini bottles of our favorite limoncello, imported straight from Sorrento, Italy.”
“The food was unforgettable, with every bite impressing our guests,” says Olivia. “Our cake, a hazelnut creation with cannoli filling from Rudy’s Pastry Shop, was incredible—though we were too busy enjoying the night to dig in! We’re now eagerly looking forward to our one-year anniversary to finally savor it.”

Favorite Moment
“My favorite moment was walking into our fully set-up ballroom while our guests were enjoying cocktail hour, and then having a private moment to cut our cake.”
“It gave us a chance to truly take it all in—for me, to see all the planning, the long days and stressful nights, come to life,” says Olivia. “I felt completely speechless, grateful, and so lucky, knowing I was about to spend the rest of the night—and the rest of my life—with the love of my life.”

Wedding Day Attire
Olivia found her dream dress at Jaehee Bridal in Englewood—an Enzoani custom URVASHI gown.
“It wasn’t what I initially imagined I’d choose, but as they say, you end up falling in love with the dress you never expected.”

Brandon and his groomsmen wore tuxedos from Men’s Wearhouse, with Brandon in a bowtie and the groomsmen in classic ties. The bridesmaids wore Espresso Brown dresses from Birdy Grey, each choosing a style that suited them best.
“One of my favorite details was our bouquets—each bridesmaid carried a single-variety bouquet featuring a flower that was also in my own bouquet,” says Olivia. “The rich espresso brown, especially for our fall wedding, was absolutely perfect.”

Advice For Other Couples
“Trust your instincts and don’t settle for anything that doesn’t feel right. From choosing your venue to picking your dress, it’s easy to feel pressure or get caught up in what ‘should’ be, but the moments that feel most authentic are the ones you’ll cherish forever.”
“Take time to pause and soak it all in on your wedding day—everything you’ve worked so hard for comes together in a blink, so savor it, celebrate it, and enjoy it with the person you love most.”

Honeymoon
They chose Jamaica for their honeymoon. “When deciding between Europe or a tropical getaway, we ultimately went for a destination where we could truly relax after all the planning and excitement of the wedding.”

“We stayed a week at Excellence Oyster Bay, and it was absolutely beautiful. Most of our time was spent unwinding—sipping piña coladas, soaking up the sun, and enjoying each other’s company. We also planned one activity for each of us: golfing for him and a rejuvenating spa day for me, making it the perfect mix of fun and relaxation.”
