Jack & Emily

Emily and Jack tied the knot on September 16, 2023.

The Proposal

“I proposed to Emily in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains nestled in northern Georgia,” says Jack. “It was a very private moment at a scenic overlook with mountains all around us. Emily and I were able to share such a special moment together and will always remember this. We would not want our engagement any other way!”

“We were so lucky to be the only people there,” adds Emily. “It was such a romantic, heartfelt moment and I cried the whole time obviously. We got to spend the rest of our trip on a post-engagement high. My all-time favorite trip we’ve taken!”

The essence of their day was deeply intertwined with family significance, which served as the heart of their celebration. Special features like a memory box and guest letters added sentimental touches.

Emily’s dress, chosen for its classic fit with flowing shoulder details, reflected her unique style.

Cake and toasts were in order before the entire party went out for a celebratory dinner.

“We would describe our wedding day as intimate, unique and cozy,” says Emily. “We felt very present throughout the entire day. We felt like the entire day was full of love and joy.”

Favorite Moment

“Some of my favorite moments were the moments right before the first looks with my father and Jack,” says Emily. “I loved seeing all our family and friends in the aisles during our ceremony.”

“I loved getting ready with my brothers, father and father-in-law,” says Jack. “As well as being able to spend quality time and talk a lot with each one of our guests. I also enjoyed celebrating our most special day at my family’s home of two generations.

Advice for Other Couples

“Do what you want for your wedding,” says Emily. “Don’t let other people sway you to do things that you don’t want to do. Enjoy the time being engaged. Don’t do something purely because of tradition. Have fun with your day!”
