How did you meet?
Daniel and I met in high school!

How did you get engaged?
We got engaged in Baltimore, Maryland in August of 2019.

Details of the day!
Our wedding was Beauty And The Beast-themed. I wanted a classic version and made sure that it wasn’t cartoon-ey. I chose to use golds, reds, whites, creams, and a lot of greenery. I used a lot of vintage gold signage and frames. And of course, roses everywhere!

Why did you choose your venue?
Pleasantdale was a dream because it looked straight out of a fairytale. As soon as we did our tour and met with Fred Fogg, we knew it was the one. I immediately canceled our second tour for the day because I knew nothing else would compare. Pleasantdale takes care of every single detail. They make you feel like an actual celebrity. The venue was ours for a full 24 hours. Every last detail down to asking for edible rose petals and creating a rose-infused margarita was taken care of no questions asked. Pleasantdale is an actual dream come true.

What was on your menu?
Appetizer: Watermelon carpaccio. Dinner: boneless branzino filet with basil herb puree, boneless braised short rib, herb-roasted chicken breast, or vegetable primavera risotto. The wedding cake was vanilla cake with vanilla custard and raspberry filling.

All about your gown!
My gown was a long sleeve lace dress by Martina Liana. I initially wanted a plain satin ball gown. None of them felt right. I walked into Seng Couture and saw my dress on the mannequin and knew it was the one. It felt very old-fashioned and vintage to me which I loved. The detail on the sleeves was everything!

What was your favorite moment?
How does someone pick ONE? I have to pick two. Honestly- waking up that morning and that day finally being here and then proceeding to spend the day with all of my best girlfriends and mom was the best. The moment before I walked down the aisle with my dad (we did not do a first look so it was extra special) and then finally seeing Dan at the end of the aisle was my other favorite moment.

One detail you couldn’t live without?
I truly don’t know how to answer this. All of the little details came together so well I don’t know that I could pick one thing!

Did anything go wrong?
Very few minor things, not even worth mentioning! Nothing phased me!

First dance song?
Then- Brad Paisley

Any advice for future brides?
All of the stress, the drama, the tears, they are WORTH IT! No one can ever say “Don’t sweat the small stuff”, because you will. No matter what. But I can say that every little bit of every emotion felt during wedding planning is 100% worth it. The feeling you have on that day with all of your friends and family, and your spouse, nothing compares. It is truly the best day ever and if you are ever feeling like none of it is worth it- I can assure you it is. Just wait!

Honeymoon Location?
Marco Island, FL and Key Largo. Original plans were Italy and Aruba but with all of the restrictions, it was not worth it to us to leave the country!
