Their Story
Dana and Dean Roventini tied the knot at the Park Savoy Estate on December 10, 2023, after meeting on Hinge.

“We both went on our first date not looking for anything serious. But the moment that date ended, I called all my girlfriends to tell them about him,” she says. “I just knew right there I was going to marry him. And he felt the same!”

The Proposal
Dean popped the question at the beautiful Deep Cut Gardens in Middletown.

“He had my friend plan a wine day with me,” Dana says. “But instead of driving to a winery, she drove me to the gardens. My best friend led me down the steps there, to find Dean waiting at the bottom. It was so beautiful.”

Details of the Day
The theme was “timeless winter elegance.” “I wanted everything I chose for the day to be something I still loved 20, 30, 50 years from now,” says Dana.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were velvet and emerald green, while the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos with black bowties.

“I gifted my bridesmaids faux fur wraps so they were comfortable in case of a frigid winter day, but we luckily had a 60-degree wedding day in December,” Dana says.

All of the florals were white with minimal greenery, and every accent at the wedding was gold.

Choosing the Venue
“The moment we stepped into the Park Savoy, I just knew this is where I wanted to get married,” Dana says of the Florham Park venue. “I was sold from the moment I walked into their beautiful ballroom. Between their exquisite ceilings, and stunning chandeliers, it was exactly what I had pictured for our wedding reception.”

A bonus? The venue’s “man cave” for Dean and the groomsmen.

Favorite Moment
“My favorite moment was walking down the aisle and seeing Dean’s face,” Dana says.

“I prepared myself for tears, but to my surprise, I was all smiles as soon as those doors opened. Dean was very emotional, but I was just so overjoyed to be marrying the love of my life. That moment will live forever in my head.”

One Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
Dana’s morning robe was custom-made from her mother’s wedding dress.

“It was so special to have been able to have a piece of my mom’s wedding dress with me on my wedding morning,” she says. “It was absolutely breathtaking, and I hope to pass it down for generations to come.”

Advice for Other Couples
“Take in every moment. They’re not lying when they say it goes by in the blink of an eye,” says Dana. For her, “being present throughout the day and not letting my nerves get to me truly made such a difference. I was so calm that whole morning, nothing could have turned my day upside down.”

Another tip? “Oh, and don’t forget to take a tequila shot with your girls before you walk down the aisle!”
Honeymoon
The couple spent ten days in St. Thomas and St. John.
