Kyle & Brianna
Brianna and Kyle tied the knot on May 27, 2022 at the Ashford Estate.
Their Story
The met online via the dating app, Bumble, in June of 2018 and had their first date at Stirling Tavern in Morristown.
“One of my first impressions of Kyle (aside from how handsome he is) was how personable he is,” says Brianna. “He was not only great at holding a conversation but he had such an ability to make me laugh despite all my nerves. We discovered that we had so much in common and didn’t stop chatting and laughing together the entire night!”

“My first impression of Brianna was her radiant smile, beautiful hair, presence and personality that could fill a room,” says Kyle. “Although she was nervously drinking water after water, we connected instantly.”

Kyle and Brianna took a trip to Jamaica in October of 2018. “It was still quite early in our relationship but we had such a fun time together,” says Brianna. “It was at some point during that trip that I knew I couldn’t live without him!”
The Proposal

“It had been a rough year with the coronavirus lockdown and we were bummed about not being able to have a typical Christmas celebration that year,” says Brianna. “He urged me to shower and put on makeup. As soon as I came out of our bedroom after getting dressed, he popped the question. We were right there in our living room next to our Christmas tree.”

Unbeknownst to Brianna, the photographer that Kyle hired had come in through the garage and was there to capture the moment.
“Right after the proposal our immediate families piled into our house with folding tables, chairs and trays of food for dinner,” says Brianna. “Kyle had ordered Mediterranean food as he knew it was my favorite.”

“It was honestly the most beautiful way to end a tough year for all! “
Details of the Day
The design inspiration was “romantic, elegant and luscious garden vibes.”

“We wanted the color scheme of the florals to be bright and bold to signify the start of summer and the warmer months,” says Brianna. “There were lots of bright pinks, corals and sherbet-tone florals accompanied with tons of greenery.”

Choosing the Venue
The Ashford Estate in Allentown, “was so picturesque and had a rustic side to its elegance which we were drawn to immediately,” says Brianna.

It was also big enough to fit their large guest count and Brianna’s parents had attended a wedding there a few years prior and had raving reviews about the food and overall presentation of the night.

“Another reason we chose the Ashford were the amazing on-premise guest suites that our family and friends in the wedding party would be able to stay in the night of the wedding,” says Brianna.

“Laura McCann and her team at the Ashford were absolute angels throughout the entire process. From day one, they were so professional, extremely accommodating and made sure every detail was buttoned up. They really went above and beyond to make our dream day become reality!”

Favorite Moment
“Walking into the ballroom for the room-reveal,” says Brianna. “Seeing my vision become a reality literally brought tears to my eyes. I couldn’t wait for all of my family and friends to walk through the doors once cocktail hour ended!”
“Enjoying the reception with my beautiful bride, family and friends,” says Kyle.
