Austin & Angelique
May 29, 2025Angelique and Austin got married at the Hamilton Manor on May 29, 2025.
Angelique and Austin are college sweethearts who met at the University of Alabama.

They both love college football and met through mutual friends. They dated for a few years in college and did long distance when Angelique took her first sports reporting job at the ABC & FOX TV stations in Burlington, Vermont. Then, Angelique and Austin moved to California together for Angelique’s job working at NBC KSEE 24 in Fresno, CA.

The Proposal
At their favorite winery, Eberle Winery, in Paso Robles, California, Austin proposed in the wine tunnels underground.
“We are wine lovers and Paso Robles has become such a special place for us,” says the bride.

Details of the Day
Their theme was elegant black and white with hints of green. “We wanted it to be timeless and clean,” says Angelique.

Choosing the Venue
While venue searching, they were looking for a mix of gardens and outdoor spaces along with a beautiful ballroom.

“I loved that the Hamilton Manor’s ballroom was unique with hardwood floors and giant ceilings,” says Angelique. “It was beautiful and perfect. We chose to upgrade our cocktail hour and have it in the barn as opposed to the basement. It took our day to another level.”

Favorite Moment
The couple loved their first dance.
“Finally all the stress of planning and everything came to an end and we just enjoyed being together,” says the bride.

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
There were a few details that the couple couldn’t live without, including their dog Fiona being the flower girl.

They also had custom napkins with Fiona on them, their signature drink was Fiona’s strawberry margarita and they had their bakery (Palermo’s) make a chocolate mold of Fiona taking a bite out of the wedding cake. “It was perfect,” says Angelique.

The bride also had a secondary groom’s cake made representing Alabama football with a bride and groom of the Big Al mascot on top of the cake.

Wedding Day Attire
The bride wore Allure C728 purchased from Kleinfeld. “We added a foot and a half to the train to make it more dramatic,” she says. The groom wore a Vera Wang tux. The bridesmaids wore Dessy Group chiffon olive green dresses and the groomsmen wore black suits rented from Men’s Wearhouse.

Advice For Other Couples
“Enjoy every moment,” says the bride. “The day flies by and its important to spend as much time together on your wedding day as you can.”

Honeymoon
The newlyweds stayed at the Kimpton Seafire and absolutely loved it. They were in Grand Cayman for six days.
