Allison and Keith wed on March 8, 2024, at David’s Country Inn.
Keith and Allison met at the Laundromat bar in Morristown.
“We had both been invited out by a mutual friend who had the intention of setting us up,” says Allison. “Although I had never met Keith before, I had heard a lot about him from my friend who SWORE we would be perfect for each other.”
“Well, she was right,” adds Allison. “That night ended with Keith trying to teach me how to salsa. Which I now realize he knows nothing about!”
Keith and Allison got engaged on September 3, 2023.
“I knew that all of our friends and family were going to meet us at Pier 13 in Hoboken, but I was under the impression it was only to celebrate my birthday which was two days prior,” says Allison. “The day started off with drinks, sun and a nice breeze on the pier. After cake, my friend had suggested that we all take a group photo. As the photo was being taken, to my surprise, my best friend had shown up from Connecticut.”
“As I stepped out from the group to give her a hug I heard Keith tell me to turn around. There he was on one knee.”
“The excitement I felt in that moment was indescribable. We then spent the rest of the day and night celebrating in Hoboken.”
Their wedding was a mix of modern and rustic.
“My main inspiration for decor was lots of greenery and candle light,” says Allison. “Our flowers were filled with eucalyptus, greenery, white roses and peach flowers for a pop. Floating candles and tea lights lit the room and added a taste of elegance.”
“Our color scheme transferred over to our bridal party dresses with the girls wearing shades of sage green.”
Guests took home a cute package that held scratch off tickets. Sealed with a sticker that said “for richer or for poorer.”
“To add some personal touches to the venue, guests could find some of our engagement photos placed with in the various rooms,” says Allison. “The beauty and uniqueness of David’s Country Inn made for an easy decor preparation.”

The couple chose David’s Country Inn for it’s homey feel, elegance, charm and history.
“From the wooden floors, antique bar from the 1700s, and ivy covered outdoor wall, this space is an absolute gem,” says the bride.
“My absolute favorite moment was our first dance,” says Allison. “When my husband and I first started dating, we fell in love with the song ‘Conversations in the Dark’ by John Legend.”
“Even before we were engaged there was an unspoken understanding that this song would be played for our first dance.”
“Although we only practiced once or twice (by watching a YouTube video) we really nailed this moment together. During the dance it really felt so surreal to look around at the room full of people there to support us. At the end of the song. my husband dipped me successfully for the first time ever.”
“One detail I could not live without were my sneakers and bride socks!”
“As soon as our first dances were over I changed out of my heels into my platform converse. I would not have survived the whole night of dancing without them.”
“Just have fun! Before the wedding we were given so much advice about staying together the whole day, eating, greeting all the guests, etc,” says Allison.
“In my opinion, the most important thing to do is just live in the moment and enjoy all the hard work you put into the day.”
The couple is headed to Greece for two weeks. “We will explore the ruins in Athens, the beaches of Paros, the romance and architecture of Santorini, and the nightlife of Mykonos.”
