Jimmy & Sydney
Sydney and Jimmy got married on October 31, 2024, at the Mill Lakeside Manor.
Their Story
The two had mutual friends, which led to Jimmy adding Sydney on Snapchat. He was fascinated by a margherita pizza she had posted a picture of.

“From that moment on, we’ve talked every day since! We just kept finding out more and more how much we have in common; it was so easy to talk to each other.”
They also both really enjoy being surrounded by their big families.

The Proposal
Jimmy had Sydney’s sisters invite her for brunch on the beach at a local beach bar and she completely fell for it!

When she walked onto the beach, there was no bar, but there was a heartfelt setup with plenty of pictures and memories leading up to that beautiful day. After saying “yes” to his proposal, they headed home.
Sydney was surprised again by a huge engagement party with both their families.

Choosing the Venue
The couple has always loved the idea of being around water and wildlife and The Mill captured all of that.

“Plus, when I walked through the front doors for our venue tour I started crying so I knew it was the place,” she says.
Favorite Moment
“My pop pop has passed less than six months prior to our wedding,” says Sydney. “He was in love with Frank Sinatra.”

“We requested the DJ to play ‘Fly Me To The Moon’ and got my mom mom to dance in a circle with our whole family and it felt like he was there with us in that moment.”
Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
The live violinist, “made the ceremony an absolute dream come true,” says Sydney.

Advice For Other Couples
“Don’t sweat the small stuff,” says Sydney. “I spent so much time over-planning every little detail and the day of schedule altered so much and we didn’t even pay any mind to it.”

“We were so overjoyed to be surrounded by everyone we love that the small stuff didn’t matter because no one knew about it other than us,” says Sydney.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds spent a week in Rome doing everything you could possibly think of.
“Our feet were killing us after all the walking we did but it was the most magical trip ever,” says Sydney.

“Our favorite was touring the Coliseum,” says Sydney. “The feeling you get seeing it in person takes you back thousands of years ago.”
