Kyle & Erica
Erica and Kyle wed on December 6, 2024, at TillingHouse.
Their Story
Erica and Kyle’s story began at Rutgers University.
Kyle was the charming star baseball player, and Erica was the spirited sorority girl, both of them living on the same off-campus street and often crossing paths at the same parties.
“But back then, we were simply two people orbiting the same world, unaware of what was waiting ahead,” she says.

Years later, life led them back to each other, and what started as a casual reconnection quickly turned into something magnetic.
“Every conversation felt easy, every laugh familiar, and every moment together felt meant to be,” says Erica. “It didn’t take long before we both knew this was it.”

The Proposal
The couple’s second date was in Asbury Park so the spot was special them. That’s also where Kyle decided to pop the question.

“With the ocean breeze around us and the sound of waves crashing nearby, he got down on one knee and asked me to hold his hand forever,” says Erica. “It was the most beautiful full-circle moment, the place where our love began became the place where our next chapter started.”

Choosing the Venue
“We fell in love with TillingHouse the moment we saw it,” says Erica. It was also the first venue that they toured. “Even though it was a newer space, it carried an incredible sense of history and timeless charm that instantly drew us in.”

“Everything about TillingHouse just felt right, from the beautiful architecture to the warm, romantic atmosphere” she adds. “It perfectly captured the vision we had for our wedding day: elegant, inviting, and truly unforgettable.”
Details of the Day
“Our wedding was inspired by an elegant, whimsical Christmas theme filled with warmth, sparkle, and timeless holiday charm,” says Erica.
“Guests were greeted by a stunning seating display of velvet ribbons in rich jewel tones, each holding a clear candy-shaped ornament with their name.”

“The room glowed with twinkling Christmas trees of every size, red accent lighting, and endless poinsettias lining the aisle, creating a festive yet romantic atmosphere.”
“The floral arrangements were romantic and rich, featuring dancing blooms of crimson and ruby reds, lush textured greenery, and delicate berry accents that tied the winter wonderland palette together.”

“Guests swapped traditional dance floor flip-flops for cozy fuzzy slippers, a playful touch that kept everyone dancing all night.”
“Signature cocktails included a Spiced Holiday Mule, Gingerbread Old Fashioned, and Mistletoe Margarita, and a “naked” red velvet cake served as the perfect sweet finish to our holiday fairytale celebration.”

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
“Our festive nutcracker and bell drink stirrers were such a small touch, but they stole the show,” says Erica. “They added the perfect dose of holiday cheer, a whimsical, sparkling detail that made every cocktail feel special.”

“Seeing our guests laughing, mingling, and dancing with those little charms clinking in their glasses was pure joy. It was the perfect reminder that sometimes it’s the tiniest details that make the biggest impact.”
Favorite Moment
The night ended on the most unforgettable note, the band’s final song, “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” by Bruce Springsteen.

“As soon as the opening chords played, the entire room erupted with pure joy,” says Erica. “Friends and family crowded the dance floor, singing and dancing with all their hearts, wrapping us in so much love and laughter. It was the perfect finale, a magical, full-circle moment that captured the spirit of the season and the start of our new chapter together.”
Wedding Day Attire
The bridal party started the day in festive red-and-white candy-striped pajamas, setting the perfect playful tone for the holiday celebration.

When it was time to get dressed, the bridesmaids looked stunning in chic black satin gowns, each in a different silhouette that reflected their personal style while keeping the overall look timeless and sophisticated.

Erica wore an off-the-shoulder A-line gown from Castle Couture, featuring a sleek slit and a detachable overskirt that allowed for a subtle style change throughout the night, giving her two looks in one while staying in the same dress that she said “I do” in.

The groomsmen completed the look in classic black tuxedos, perfectly complementing the elegant, black-tie feel of the evening and adding to the timeless holiday glamour of our celebration.
Advice For Other Couples
“Don’t lose sight of what the day is truly about, the two of you,” says Erica. “It’s easy to get caught up in the planning and the details, but once the day arrives, let go and be fully present.”

“Take a moment together to pause, look around, and soak it all in, the music, the laughter, the people who came to celebrate your love.”
“And remember, it’s the personal touches that make your wedding yours. Whether it’s a fun signature cocktail, a meaningful song, or a little unexpected detail, those are the moments your guests will remember, and so will you.”

Honeymoon
For their honeymoon, the newlyweds spent two unforgettable weeks exploring Italy. They began in Rome, surrounded by history, art, and incredible food at every turn, then made their way to the Amalfi Coast. From the charm of Sorrento to the breathtaking beauty of Positano, each day was filled with sunsets, laughter, and memories they’ll cherish forever.
