Fluffy White Flowers in Every Detail at This Timeless Shadowbrook Wedding
Ashley and Jonathan’s November 30, 2025, at Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury was the picture of timeless elegance — and fluffy white roses and hydrangeas by Dahlia Floral & Event Design were at the heart of every detail. From a classic black, gold and white color palette to a lavish cocktail hour overflowing with seafood and a sprawling Viennese dessert table, the couple leaned into the regal grandeur that Shadowbrook does best. The day was filled with deeply personal moments, too — none more moving than Ashley dancing with her father while her mother sang live. Photographer-videographer team Natali & Kate was on hand to capture every unforgettable moment.
Their Story
“We were introduced by friends,” says Ashley. A few text messages later, Ashley and Jonathan were off to their first date at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Italian food and Japanese dessert to finish the night.

The Proposal
“We got engaged in October of 2025 under a beautiful gazebo in Central Park in New York City,” says Ashley. “The day was so beautiful and special.”
Details of the Day
“Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury is extremely regal, beautiful and truly feels like you are a princess,” says Ashley. “Our theme was classic. Our colors were black, gold and white. Our flowers, all roses and hydrangeas, were fluffy white.”
“Our menu featured an endless amount of seafood at our cocktail hour, delicious filet mignon, and endless dessert at the Viennese table afterwards (with a cake cutting too, of course).”
Favorite Moment
A favorite moment was when Ashley’s mom sang for Ashley’s father-daughter dance. “She sang ‘A Song For My Daughter’ by Phil Collins,” she says, “It was so special to dance with my dad while my mom was singing.”
Wedding Day Attire
“I wore a Pnina Tornei gown. Jonathan wore a tuxedo from Canali. Our wedding party wore beautiful black long dresses with flower details,” she says.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds took a three-week honeymoon all over the Swiss Alps. They also visited Italy and France. “It was magical. We toured around, shopped, visited museums, and explored beautiful winter villages,” says Ashley.
