Inside Influencer Ms. Morristown’s Sophisticated Wedding with Irish Touches

After a five-month engagement, the influencer became a Mrs. during her wedding at the James Ward Mansion.

Allie Sharkey smiled as she heard the bagpiper serenading guests who were entering the ceremony. It was almost time for the big moment: walking down the aisle to Aram Najarian, her husband-to-be. With a gorgeous fireplace, oversized mirror, glittering chandelier, and tons of white flowers and candles as the backdrop, they said “I do.”

“It felt so intimate and romantic standing in front of the love of my life and having my closest friends and family all around us,” she recalls.

It was a picture-perfect moment that you’d see on social media. And Allie knows a thing or two about Instagram-worthy content as the New Jersey influencer Ms. Morristown.

On May 10, 2025, Allie officially became a Mrs. The couple’s less than 100-guest wedding at the James Ward Mansion in Westfield was a timeless and elegant day that Allie describes as a “old money”-themed wedding. A rented Rolls-Royce parked outside the venue set the tone. Champagne and caviar were served, and live musicians created a sophisticated atmosphere. Naturally, a content creator captured every detail, including Allie’s outfit change for the end-of-the-night champagne tower.

Although they got married in Westfield, Allie and Aram’s love story is about as Morristown as it gets.

Nino Coniglio, who owns Coniglio’s Old Fashioned pizzeria on South Street, was a mutual friend of Allie and Aram. It was summer 2022, and they all happened to be at Homestead, a popular bar. Nino decided to play matchmaker. “We hit it off, honestly, immediately,” Allie says about meeting Aram.

Their first date that summer, which lasted about seven hours, was a tour of Morristown. They started at 1776 Morristown for lunch, went to Revolution for drinks, grabbed coffee at Lokl, had dinner at the now-shuttered Jockey Hollow and capped the night at Stirling Tavern. After spending a full day together, Allie says, “It was pretty obvious there was a connection.”

It was a fitting beginning for the influencer who has more than 36,000 Instagram followers and promotes local businesses and things to do in Morristown.

In December 2024, Aram, who is a restaurateur, proposed at a light show at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

With just a five-month engagement, including an extravagant Alice in Wonderland-themed couple’s shower at American Beauty Events in Berkeley Heights, their fiancé era was short. But they wouldn’t have it any other way.

“We really didn’t want to wait. We knew what we wanted,” says Allie.

Their wedding weekend began in Morristown with welcome drinks at the Westin Governor Morris, where guests stayed. Allie started her wedding morning “very Zen” with her bridesmaids as they did yoga with TB Yoga House at the Westin and had snacks and juice from Green Point Juicery.

Then, they headed to the James Ward Mansion to get ready. In the bridal suite, a room with a “royal feel to it,” the bridesmaids wore kimonos that Aram’s mom had collected over the years. Then, the ladies slipped into their emerald green outfits before Allie and Aram’s first look on an indoor balcony. (Aram’s 8-year-old son was the ring bearer.)

In a chapel inside the James Ward Mansion, with their mothers as witnesses, Allie and Aram signed their marriage certificate. “We had a moment of prayer and reflection” before the guests arrived, says Allie.

In the chapel, stained glass depicts St. Patrick and St. Brigid, which Allie took as a sign from her late Irish grandfather.

Incorporating Irish details was just as important to Allie as pulling off the sophisticated aesthetic. “He raised me. [He] and I had an amazing relationship,” Allie says of her grandfather.

As a way to honor him, a bagpiper was playing from an outdoor balcony as guests arrived for the ceremony, and they were offered Veuve Clicquot, Allie’s favorite champagne. “[That was] just kind of my tribute to him, like my way of having him there,” she says.

Once the ceremony began, a cellist and violinist played as Allie walked halfway down the aisle by herself, until joining arm-in-arm with her mom to the altar. Because Morristown plays such a significant role in their relationship, Allie and Aram had the mayor of the town, Tim Dougherty, officiate the ceremony. Once the “I dos” were complete, guests were ushered to cocktail hour while the ceremony room was flipped for the reception.

Parked outside the venue was a white Rolls- Royce that the couple used as a prop during fun photos in downtown Westfield.

“People were waving and beeping,” says Allie about taking candid street shots. “Everyone was coming out of the storefronts to see what’s going on. It was a cool experience.”

Back inside, guests feasted on a raw bar with oysters, charcuterie and caviar as well as passed hors d’oeuvres as a piano player harmonized from the mansion’s on-site piano. At an audio phone booth, guests picked up an antique-looking phone and left a message for the happy couple to listen to later on.

To keep Morristown present throughout the wedding, Allie booked many local vendors. Event planner Stacey Sainato of Peony Events went with Michelle’s Catering for an all-night cocktail-style reception featuring many food stations instead of a sit-down dinner, and Four Seasons Wine and Liquor supplied the alcohol. The James Ward Mansion is not a traditional ballroom, so all vendors had to be brought in.

Channeling the Roaring Twenties, the couple wanted the reception to be a ton of fun. Their DJ, White Isle Events, delivered and the guests danced all night.

Allie changed into a short dress and added strings of pearls to her hair for the champagne tower, where she and Aram poured out bottles of Veuve over stacked glasses.

“It felt like a party the entire time,” says Allie, reflecting on her big day.

The next day was Mother’s Day, so Allie and Aram hosted a brunch in the Westin’s wine room. South Street Gardens, which also did the wedding florals, supplied flowers for the moms to take home. (Speaking of mothers, Allie and Aram are expecting a baby in February 2026.)

That afternoon, before the Najarians jetted off on their week-long honeymoon to Paris and Normandy, they stopped at the James Ward Mansion to pick up a few things they left behind the night before.

The owner, who they hadn’t met previously, let them into the venue. They started talking about the bagpiper at their wedding, and he mentioned that his family is from Ireland.

Then, they made an unexpected discovery. “It turns out our families are both from the same village, which is this tiny coastal town in Donegal, and we know all the same places,” says Allie. They spent some time swapping stories and photos.

To uncover this connection, “to me, that was a little bit of an Irish blessing,” says Allie. “That’s my grandfather. This was clearly the venue that I was meant to get married at and everything was meant to be.”
