Models wearing David's gowns strolled among guests at the standing-room-only event.

Ladies, what can I say about last night's David Tutera event at I Do...I Do... bridal studio in Morristown (800-403-4013) except WOW!  Even before David arrived, the entire block was buzzing with excitement...

You have to check out the video clips I just posted. Girls were lined up and down the street, screaming David's name and holding handmade posters that read "We Love You!" and "Please Plan My Wedding!" Once the wedding planner extraordinaire walked through the front door, he was surrounded by adoring fans and photographed with an amazing multi-layered red-velvet cake made by Palermo's Bakery.

When David saw the cake that was fashioned to look like a stack of his books and the latest issue of New Jersey Bride (that featured him on the cover), he said, "That's adorable!"

To see fun photos, click the on the "slideshow" link above.

David met with guests for a couple of hours and was extremely gracious to stay until the very last fan had an autographed copy of New Jersey Bride.

Special thanks to Patricia Lipper and Leia Marley of I Do... I Do... for hosting the event; Katherine Rodriguez of Celso's and Crossed Keys Inn for catering the hors d'oeuvres; Joanne Bruno of Palermo's Bakery for the custom cake; Erin Matkowski and Cassandra Dajuste of J&M Home & Design for flowers, Wendy Taffet of Enjou Chocolat; and Rob Kneller of Rob Kneller Photography.

Hope you enjoy the clips and photos!

  • My Fair Event with David

    Susan,
It was so wonderful meeting you at the David Tutera event. It was definitely an extraordinary evening and waiting in line to meet David was worth every minute. He was as genuine and kind in person as he is on TV.
I enjoyed meeting you as well and your blog is very interesting. I am going to "bookmark" it right now! Perhaps we can collaborate in the future...
Lastly, It's very kind of you to include the picture of us from the event. I consider it a great style success that you complimented my dress and bag!
