I didn't understand what it did, how to use it or, most importantly, how it could add to my life. I'm on Facebook, afterall, and even use Twitter from time to time. But, Pinterest? I had no interest. Until my sister got engaged and I found myself on a Friday night thinking of all the great details we could work into her wedding. And how could I share these ideas with her...and my other sister...and my sister's best friend? Yes, via Pinterest. So now when I'm trying to find a peony bouquet to show my sister to see if she even likes peonies, I pin a whole bunch of gorgeous options, and she can then look at them when she gets a chance. Cool food trucks? They're on Pinterest. As are fabulous Christian Louboutins, to-die-for wedding gowns, s'more stations and cigar rollers. Yes, I've looked up each one. But now I've made the leap from sister of a bride, pinning details that I think she'd like, to wedding editor, pinning all of the great details that we have in the magazine each issue. I've had a ton of fun creating Honeymoon boards, Bouquet boards, Cake boards, Dress boards and so many more. But it's the Wedding Details—that catch-all category—that honestly for me is the most fun. It's the details that make each of your weddings unique. The details are how you can add your own signature touch to your special day. And it's just so fun to find such great stuff.
