I love the story behind this brand-new bridal shoe company. Hey Lady (shopheylady.com) was created by two sisters, twins actually, who were in search of beautiful and comfortable bridal shoes. As a former fashion executive, Jessica refused to wear something stiff and “dyeable” for her wedding, even though nobody could see the shoes beneath the gown. After a year of searching, there were no wedding shoes that didn’t remind her of puffed taffeta and polyester suits. Since she couldn’t have style, she settled for generic metallic and whatever made her tallest. She vowed never to settle again, through sickness and health, ‘til death do they part.

And that's when she decided with sister Emily to change the bridal options and create the Hey Lady shoe line. “There needs to be an anti-dyeable, actually-danceable wedding shoe,” she says. And so they created fabulous-looking yet functional shoes. "Why can’t we have it all?," asks their website.  "The twins believe in pro-choice—the choice to have a killer shoe that isn’t a killer shoe. And thus the perfect pair was born."

I really don't know which ones are my favorite. I just love the champagne border on the heels above, but then the Tiffany-blue shoes are pretty great also. Look at the options here (click on the slide show below), then go to shopheylady.com. They come in heels with various heights and prices start at $220.

Hi Molly, It's Lori with ModelBride. I love the Hey Lady Shoes as well. There are no bridal shoes on the market like them. ModelBride will be carrying the shoes within the month.
