Mix it up. When selecting flowers for your bridesmaids, don’t feel obligated for all of the girls to carry the same color...or even the same variety. Here, for her May 13, 2011, wedding at Ravello’s in East Hanover, Stefanie Leone of Bloomfield used sweet peas, gerber daisies, roses and tulips—all with touches of stephanotis—in vastly different shades. We just love the resulting look. A lot of brides feel like they have to be matchy-matchy when it comes to wedding coordination, but this sort of variation proves that not everything needs to look the same, a philosophy that can be carried over to your bridesmaid gowns, shoes, centerpieces, boutonnieres and table décor. Mix it up, make it interesting and have fun.
