There are lots of great transportation options out there for today's brides, from antique cars to traditional limos, stretch SUVs to horse-drawn carriages. So how do you make sure your transportation is as perfect as the rest as your day?
As with anything else, ask lots of questions, and make sure you get everything in writing. Once you have decided on the type of vehicle you want, set up a time to see the actual car that will be used for your wedding. Make sure it’s in a condition you are happy with, and if it’s an antique, check to see if it has working heat or air-conditioning. See if the rental includes anything else, like runners or a bottle of champagne.
Also be sure to find out what the driver will be wearing—you don't want to be surprised by someone showing up in shorts and a T-shirt to drive you to your black-tie event. Finally, make sure you give the driver directions to the pick-up spot. Even the best GPS system can be wrong, and you don't need anything else to worry about on your big day.
