Although one of the first things on your to-do list is selecting invitations and save-the-date cards, you might be tempted to print your program at the last minute—or not at all. But don’t be so fast to overlook this schedule of events, because it’s a perfect way to let your personality shine on your wedding day.

Here’s a cool idea from Cassandre Snyder Events in East Windsor (732-421-2176; cassandresnyder.com). This clever and colorful piece served as a ceremony agenda, remembered departed family members and honored and identified each member of the wedding party, all in one clever program. The icon silhouettes listed the name of each attendant and his or her relationship to the bride and groom, and reflected the colors of the maids’ dresses and groomsmen’s ties.

“As soon as you decide on your wedding concept, it’s not too early to design your stationery,” Snyder says. “This type of program is a nice way to introduce your bridal party and honor them for all the time and effort they have contributed to your wedding. Try to nail down your theme and colors six to eight months in advance and you could even save money by printing your invitation, program and other stationery through the same company,” she adds. “Creating a fun program is a great way to celebrate your big day.”
