The 220 guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour before the ceremony, led by a conservative rabbi on a warm summer night as the sun set. After Lauren walked down the rose-petal-adorned aisle, the couple were married in the gardens under a huppah covered in white dendrobium orchids. “The whole ceremony was magical,” Lauren says. The red rose petals and the deep plum of her bridesmaids’ gowns and flowers were a contrast to Lauren’s off-white trumpet-style gown. The party moved inside to the candlelit ballroom for dinner, and everyone danced into the early morning hours, stopping as Lauren and Matthew cut the four-tiered cake decorated with red roses. “My dad has made so many people’s fairytale weddings come true by perfecting every detail—and he did it again for me,” says Lauren.
