I was wondering if May would be a good month for a wedding. I thought about June, but then I found out that the 3 most popular months for weddings are June, August and September. I just dont feel like competeing for vendors and stuff with other brides. I know June has good weather. But so does May. I am open to opinions. Please help.

If you have your wedding in May, you may be able to get better prices from vendors, since June is more popular.  And having it on a Friday as opposed to a Saturday will also save you alot of money.  The weather will be a little cooler in May, so that really depends on the type of ceremony you will have.  My husband and I had an outside ceremony, so we knew that anything that early wouldn't be good for us.  But if you're getting married in a church it really doesn't matter.

If you plan early enough, and book your vendors quickly, getting married in June may not be such a problem.  Just don't wait that long to do anything.  Get all of your research done now in advance.

What year were you thinking of?  This June may be too late.  Are you talking 2009?

I am getting married in October of 07, I am going for the fall look. I had even considered winter for a winter theme.  Pretty much any month is a good month.

Of course if you want outdoors you will want the summer.  I chose fall because I'm hoping it is cooled off a bit.  I don't want to worry about sweating, and yes I do feel bad for the guys in those heavy tuxedos.
